Camp Hero

Kischa Buford is the Recruiter for the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission. She graduated from Marquette with a Bachelors in Corporate Communications and Human Resources. She has a passion for Community Relations events and making a difference in her community. 

The Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission, Girl Scouts of Southeastern Wisconsin and MATC partnered to bring CampHERO to Milwaukee. Originating in Madison, WI, CampHERO is a camp for high-school girls to provide hands on experience with careers that are considered "a man's job"  including Firefighter, Police Officer and EMT. It is a week-long camp that is jam packed with activities such as foot pursuit, repelling from a 3 story tower and CPR certification
